Project Name
September 1965. A photograph of Newlands Methodist Chapel on the Low Moor Estate. The chapel was built as a replacement for the Brunswick Primitive Methodist Chapel on Albert Road in the early 1960s. It was known that much of the housing around the old Brunswick Chapel was due for demolition and that there might be more possibility of a better congregation in a modern building in an area of newer housing. As a result a decision to relocate the chapel was taken. Photograph from the David Atkinson Archive.
